Welcome, welcome to the new improved, sparkly Willy Wilcox Cottage website. We have been on a slow IT burn over the last two years since purchasing the cottage in May 2018 from a website point of view, but a full on nurture and update has taken place of this glorious landmark cottage in this very special Cornish fishing village. John and I feel very blessed to be at the helm and it is indeed a very special place to us. We have carefully considered all the upgrades that we have made, some very necessary and not visible to the human eye and others that are full on improvements throughout the whole property, which we feel do not in anyway spoil the fabric of this historical cottage only enhance it, and revisions that we very much hope you will all enjoy.
Cornwall is blessed with pure beauty – wonderful coastlines, cliff top walks, craggy coves, sheltered bays, turquoise waters, more picturesque fishing villages and harbour towns than you can shake a stick at and without doubt Polperro is right up there as one of the best having won many awards over the years and continues to do so.
With its protected inner harbour full of colourful boats, Polperro is an unspoilt 13 th Century working fishing village that sits nestled in a cliff ravine, steeped in smuggling history.

Regular blogs regarding the happenings in Polperro and any cottage news will be posted together with any guest musings or suggestions and we very much welcome photographs of your stay, be they stunning landscape shots, sunsets (never get bored of these), or as dog owners we welcome the four legged friend images too.
